Jozi music fans are counting down the days, minutes and seconds until Superbalist In The City rocks Emmarentia Dam on Sunday 9 October 2016 for an entire day of the best international and local rock, indie and rap music.
In partnership with Superbalist.com, MTV and Channel24, this annual event always creates unforgettable memories, like when Skunk Anansie ran into the crowd of 10,000 – or when Rudimental got the whole crowd signing along to ‘Feel the Love’ – and let’s not forget the collab between P.H.Fat and Albairre live on stage. Who knows what will happen this year – what we do know is you can’t miss it!
Typically an indie-rock lineup, this year’s #SxITC Concert is stepping outside of the box and bringing Jozi one of the top acts in the hip-hop game, Mac Miller and his insane rap versatility. Indie legends Foster The People‘s infectiously good music with distinct vocals and dance-oriented indie-rock will create that carefree afterglow! Beardyman‘s genius Beatboxing and live-looping skills will be something you’ve never experienced before!
Not to be outdone by the internationals local favourites Grassy Spark will bring their high-energy ska-reggae performance, Shortstraw their loveable summer vibes and SOL GEMS’ retro-rock to the Sunday Concert.
This concert is an all-ages event and children under 6 get in free, so bring the whole family! There will be a variety of delicious food vendors onsite and we will have a fully stocked bar so all you have to do is come enjoy the music.
With tickets now only R285, there is no better way to invest your money than in music and lifelong memories.
